The South Carolina Gamecocks have risen from being an also ran into one of the top teams in the country. With premier running back Marcus Lattimore coming back of of a knee injury sustained against Mississippi State last year and the genius of the Old Ball coach South Carolina Fans will probably need some heavy duty South Carolina Blankets to carry them through out the post season.
The Georgia Bulldogs came from having a coach that was on the verge of being fired to winning the SEC East last year. The problem was they had to play the winner of the SEC west which is a daunting task. With Aaron Murray doing a great job the Bulldogs fans will certainly need a Georgia Blanket to keep them warm in the post season again this year.
Florida has not recovered from the great Urban Meyer leaving and with upstart head coach who has yet to prove his self as a head coach it may be another tough season for Will Muscamp and staff but you can probably count on seeing them in a bowl game with Florida blankets all around it just will probably not be the sec championship game in Atlanta.
Tennessee is coming off what Tennessee fans see as a terrible year in conference play, probably want get much better this year. They will be adding Mississippi State from the west and most of their fans will probably see it as a win but not for long after the game starts. They will see how different the east and the west really are. Again you will probably see some Tennessee blankets in the post season again this year. But how long will the Vols accept this mediocrity is yet to be seen.
Vanderbilt has gotten much better under the tool age of their new fiery head coach. They return 18 starters and once again should make it to a bowl game causing the Door nation to break out the Vanderbilt blankets once again.
And the Missouri Tigers make their SEC day view with 12 starters from last years 8-5 team. They should be ok except for the fact that they now have to face these super fast lineman week end and week out. So good luck with that and I can see them squeaking into a bowl game but just barely. So tiger fans go ahead and get those Missouri blankets ready.
And last but not least the basketball playing Kentucky Wildcats will bring up the rear of the east. Even though they can really shoot the hoops in Kentucky the football is a different story. When it comes to buying Kentucky blankets to stay warm in the post season, I would not worry about it unless your TV is out on the deck.
